CESAR DISTRICT EDUCATIONAL COMPLEX

Designed and built by the Colombian architectural firm AVILA S.A.S. ARQUITECTURA E INGENIERIA, we were appointed as executive architects to collaborate with them on the construction phase delivering high standard details as well as structural and M&E final coordination.
The educational complex includes a kindergarten, 12 classrooms for the primary school, 12 classrooms for the secondary schools, two research laboratories, two laboratories of physic and chemistry, a film archive, technology and IT workshops, a big library, art workshops and office spaces for the management team.
The main building has three levels with a total area of 4000sqm, it has been designed giving particular attention to the light, the materials and the climatic conditions in order to create a suitable environment for all the students and their teachers.
In the large courtyard the students and the members of the staff can take advantage of a café and a restaurant during their breaks while just in front of the main entrance there is a football pitch and a tennis court.
